This character villa in Auckland has been carefully renovated to deliver year-round warmth, improved comfort and better energy efficiency-while retaining the home's original character and charm.

The Challenge
Older villas often lack adequate insulation and airtightness, resulting in draughts, heat loss and uneven indoor temperatures. The challenge was to significantly improve thermal performance, reduce draughts and upgrade insulation across ceilings, external walls and underfloor areas to meet modern standards.
